We shot Vanessa and Hugo’s engagement session a couple months ago and wedding bells have called and flipartimages will be covering vanessa and hugo’s wedding in Virginia next month. After a couple weeks of selection and many submissions from bride’s flipartimages have finally selected the 2010 wedding package giveway winner. Congratulation to Vanessa and Hugo for winning the contest. Here’s their story:
Hugo & Vanessa met in College in 2006. There was an instant connection for the two, and in that moment the fact that Vanessa was attending college 1,114.04 miles away at the University of Arizona and Hugo at The University of Texas Pan-American didnt mean a thing to Hugo. For almost two years the couple made the most of a relationship that most didn’t understand. They made the monthly trips back and fourth to each other and on a college student budget believe me it was hard. Wanting to show Vanessa that he was serious about her he left his well paying job to move to Tucson for the summer to spend it with her. No Christmas or Spring break could keep them seperated. With the same devotion to Hugo, after graduation in 2008 Vanessa piled all of her belongings into her trusty Jetta and made the long move to Texas. On there 3 year anniversary Hugo felt it was time, that all the adversity they had been through had led up to this moment…… to ask Mr. Robles a.k.a (FBI!!) for his daughters had in marrige . With his blessing Hugo asked Vanessa to marry him on Dec 10, 2008. After 10 months in Texas graduate school and a wonderful culinary opportunity led them to the Nations Capital, Washington D.C. where they will be Married on March 27, 2010. Who knows where life’s adventures will take them next!
