Honey / Junn Marq :: engagement

we had another bam funky funky engagement session last night with Honey and junn marq. Honey and Junn marq are flipart’s very own and had their engagement a couple months back in hawaii…This session was a little more formal and we had the opportunity to shoot again at the mccreery aviation in mcallen. Honey and Marq will be getting married next month at baptist temple and will be having their reception at the cimaron.

After shooting at mccreery aviation we went to an open field to get an open look with a vintage feel, this is what we do best shoot at the side of the road and wait for cops to kick us out..hehehe.. fortunately we never got kicked out of this one… congratulations to honey and omac. We are very excited to cover your wedding.

Sarah + Jesus :: wedding

We covered sarah and Jesus a couple weeks ago during their engagement session at home depot. Sarah and Jesus got married at the beautiful Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, Texas. The past couple of days before the wedding it had been raining but during the wedding day the weather in los fresnos was just perfect and the place was beautiful.

check out Sarah’s shoes!! she is the first bride that we have covered to wear personalized converse shoes..those are some awesome wedding shoes sarah!! something very different.

Rick + Leslie :: wedding

Rick and Leslie’s christmas wedding!! The theme for rick and leslie’s wedding was christmas and they did a great job putting it together! I mean just look at the details on this wedding. Rick and Leslie booked us almost two years in advance in one of our very first wedding fair and we have gone a long way since then. The couple is simply amazing and very fun to work with and the wedding was just beautiful. Congratulations rick and leslie we had a blast covering your wedding.

I just really love this ring shot. I’ve seen a couple of shots like this from other photographers and wanted to get a flipart version and I think we nailed this one. Embassy suites you can use this one for your website..hehehe.

those converse are awesome!! Leslie is the second bride we have covered sporting the personalized converse with the wedding date in the back..just not too long ago we covered Sarah’s wedding and she had on some blue converse…great choice of shoes leslie!!

Lindsey + Michael::engagement

The Lindsey and Mike engagement session was awesome!! Rey, a co-worker from the hospital I worked at, had mentioned that he had built a red barn.. a red barn!! We love red barns.. so, we took the opportunity to use rey’s red barn. Lindsey and Mike loved the idea of the shoot, and as we have hoped for, the entire shoot turned out great..lindsey and mike are so easy to work with, which made the shoot a breeze. Lindsey and Mike will be getting married next month in Ruidosso, New Mexico, and flipartimages will be there to cover it.

We are very excited about Lindsey and Mike’s wedding in New, Mexico.. Lindsey showed us some photos of Ruidosso, and the location is phenomenal..I have shoot ideas running through my head as i’m writing this blog..that’s how excited we are..hehehe..we’re just so excited to be able to shoot outside the valley and the thought of snow and snowboarding along with photography is always exciting..This will be flipart’s 3rd Destination wedding and the first for the year 2010.

the hay added a nice touch to the photos, and Lindsey and mike are just awesome to work with.

margaret + gian :: wedding

Finally getting caught up on things and able to work on the blog a bit..Margaret and Gian got married a couple months ago in Mcallen, texas. Margaret and Gian are some of our close friends and we were thrilled when they chose flipartimages to cover their wedding. Gian is originally from “the windy city” Chicago. Margaret and Gian met in Chicago and to make a long story short, they clicked and Gian moved down to “the hot valley” hehehe..

congratulations Gima!! we had a blast covering your wedding…we got a hold of a new black and white filter from a fellow photographer and it’s awesome…for a while now I have been wanting to do a post all black and white and here it is, I love this filter…enjoy the photos!!
