Honey / Junn Marq :: engagement

we had another bam funky funky engagement session last night with Honey and junn marq. Honey and Junn marq are flipart’s very own and had their engagement a couple months back in hawaii…This session was a little more formal and we had the opportunity to shoot again at the mccreery aviation in mcallen. Honey and Marq will be getting married next month at baptist temple and will be having their reception at the cimaron.

After shooting at mccreery aviation we went to an open field to get an open look with a vintage feel, this is what we do best shoot at the side of the road and wait for cops to kick us out..hehehe.. fortunately we never got kicked out of this one… congratulations to honey and omac. We are very excited to cover your wedding.

RGV photographer’s hangout

Hung out with some of the coolest photographers in the valley the other day and we had an amazing time! A couple beautiful models showed up for us and we started to shoot away. This was a great time to meet other photographers in the valley, I didn’t know there were so many! Great job to david pezzat for organizing the RGV photographers hangout, If you’re into photography and would like some practice and tips and tricks from other photographers, this is a great opportunity for you. Be on the look out for the next photographers meet. Also This coming April there are plans on a photography workshop compiled by some of the best photographers here in the valley.

lindsey + mike :: destination wedding

Ruidoso, New Mexico…Our 1st destination wedding of 2010..and we had a blast!! Lindsey and Mike’s wedding in ruidoso was awesome!!! it’s amazing how different a place is when it’s covered with snow. The pine trees covered in white, the ground in white snow, what a beautiful location. Lindsey and Mike picked a perfect place for their wedding. Such a cold city but we were met with a warm welcome from lindsey and mike’s family, some of the nicest people we’ve met.

While covering lindsey and mike’s wedding under 10 degree weather and with wind chill factors, it felt like -3 degrees. We sure found out how hard it was to shoot under very cold weather. Just after a couple of shots my fingers was having a hard time clicking the shutter. However, we still manage to get the shots, bam funky funky

For those who have seen the movie “Gamer” you maybe familiar with this venue. Lindsey and Mike had their reception at The Spencer Theater. Beautiful art work and nice architectural design.

Finally our very own wedding is up on our blog..after many busy months and sleepless nights, we finally had the time to work on the blog. When a photographer gets married, one would think who would cover his wedding? fortunately our close friend Mr. David Pezzat and his crew along with San Jose photography offered their service to cover our wedding. As it turned out, as soon as the ceremony was over, and the rest of the flipartimages crew was done with their job as part of the entourage, they joined in and did what they do best as photographers, even the groom, hehehe. one wedding 3 photographer teams: Flipartimages, David Pezzat Photographers, and San Jose Photography. Video was also covered by San Jose Videography. Now I can say that I know what it’s like to be a groom in front of the camera.

again special thanks to Mr. David Pezzat and his crew for covering our wedding along with San jose. It was great working with you guys again. it was just like old times. Also thanks to Cynthia from Cynthia’s cakes for creating our beautiful cake.

Sarah + Jesus :: wedding

We covered sarah and Jesus a couple weeks ago during their engagement session at home depot. Sarah and Jesus got married at the beautiful Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, Texas. The past couple of days before the wedding it had been raining but during the wedding day the weather in los fresnos was just perfect and the place was beautiful.

check out Sarah’s shoes!! she is the first bride that we have covered to wear personalized converse shoes..those are some awesome wedding shoes sarah!! something very different.

Rick + Leslie :: wedding

Rick and Leslie’s christmas wedding!! The theme for rick and leslie’s wedding was christmas and they did a great job putting it together! I mean just look at the details on this wedding. Rick and Leslie booked us almost two years in advance in one of our very first wedding fair and we have gone a long way since then. The couple is simply amazing and very fun to work with and the wedding was just beautiful. Congratulations rick and leslie we had a blast covering your wedding.

I just really love this ring shot. I’ve seen a couple of shots like this from other photographers and wanted to get a flipart version and I think we nailed this one. Embassy suites you can use this one for your website..hehehe.

those converse are awesome!! Leslie is the second bride we have covered sporting the personalized converse with the wedding date in the back..just not too long ago we covered Sarah’s wedding and she had on some blue converse…great choice of shoes leslie!!

Look at this awesome cake by cynthia..Cynthia’s cakes makes some of the best cakes out there, so if you’re shopping around for a wedding cake or any type of cake for that matter. Look no further, Cynthia does phenomenal work.
