After a couple weeks of selection and many submissions from bride’s flipartimages have finally selected the 2010 wedding package giveway winner. Congratulation to Vanessa and Hugo for winning the contest. Here’s their story:

Hugo & Vanessa met in College in 2006. There was an instant connection for the two, and in that moment the fact that Vanessa was attending college 1,114.04 miles away at the University of Arizona and Hugo at The University of Texas Pan-American didnt mean a thing to Hugo. For almost two years the couple made the most of a relationship that most didn’t understand. They made the monthly trips back and fourth to each other and on a college student budget believe me it was hard. Wanting to show Vanessa that he was serious about her he left his well paying job to move to Tucson for the summer to spend it with her. No Christmas or Spring break could keep them seperated. With the same devotion to Hugo, after graduation in 2008 Vanessa piled all of her belongings into her trusty Jetta and made the long move to Texas. On there 3 year anniversary Hugo felt it was time, that all the adversity they had been through had led up to this moment…… to ask Mr. Robles a.k.a (FBI!!) for his daughters had in marrige . With his blessing Hugo asked Vanessa to marry him on Dec 10, 2008. After 10 months in Texas graduate school and a wonderful culinary opportunity led them to the Nations Capital, Washington D.C. where they will be Married on March 27, 2010. Who knows where life’s adventures will take them next!

A couple beautiful models showed up for us and we started to shoot away. This was a great time to meet other photographers in the valley, I didn’t know there were so many! Great job to david pezzat for organizing the RGV photographers hangout, If you’re into photography and would like some practice and tips and tricks from other photographers, this is a great opportunity for you. Be on the look out for the next photographers meet. Also This coming April there are plans on a photography workshop compiled by some of the best photographers here in the valley.

Sarah and Jesus got married at the beautiful Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, Texas. The past couple of days before the wedding it had been raining but during the wedding day the weather in los fresnos was just perfect and the place was beautiful.

Rey, a co-worker from the hospital I worked at, had mentioned that he had built a red barn.. a red barn!! We love red barns.. so, we took the opportunity to use rey’s red barn. Lindsey and Mike loved the idea of the shoot, and as we have hoped for, the entire shoot turned out great..lindsey and mike are so easy to work with, which made the shoot a breeze. Lindsey and Mike will be getting married next month in Ruidosso, New Mexico, and flipartimages will be there to cover it.

We are very excited about Lindsey and Mike’s wedding in New, Mexico.. Lindsey showed us some photos of Ruidosso, and the location is phenomenal..I have shoot ideas running through my head as i’m writing this blog..that’s how excited we are..hehehe..we’re just so excited to be able to shoot outside the valley and the thought of snow and snowboarding along with photography is always exciting..This will be flipart’s 3rd Destination wedding and the first for the year 2010.

the hay added a nice touch to the photos, and Lindsey and mike are just awesome to work with.
